Trade Show Booth - Pewaukee Veterinary Service
The Pewaukee Veterinary Service recently had a new 8'x10' trade show booth produced by Innovative Signs. When complete, this booth will be fitted with a 27" tv screen to add to the existing graphics of the booth.

Information About Direct Printing & the HP Scitex FB500
With direct-to-print technologies that use UV-curable inks, photographic images, graphic designs, and art can be printed on wallcoverings, flooring materials, tabletops, plywood, clear and colored Plexiglas, thin and thick PVC, and metal. (The image shown here was printed directly on 1/2-inch thick Plexiglas.)
This technology is often referred to as direct printing, because
an image can be printed directly onto a rigid substrate. Many printers
that use UV-curable inks can also print on rolled substrates, such as
canvas, backlit films, and papers.The HP Scitex FB500 can produce photographic resolution and print with white ink. White ink is used when images are printed on non-white and clear substrates.
After you have located a print-provider in your area, communicate closely with the printing firm with regards to the file type, resolution, and color space that will produce the optimum quality.
File TypeYou can’t go wrong submitting your image as a TIFF or PDF. But if you have to use white ink, follow the provided guidelines closely to call out the area needed for white ink. This is usually in the creation of a “spot” or “alpha” channel used to define the area where white ink will be printed.
Resolution
Large-format guidelines still apply when printing direct to substrate. Submitting at least 240 ppi to 300 ppi will give you the best photographic output. Newer-model UV-curable printers have variable drop-size capabilities for better image quality. These printers can add more dots (detail) in the highlights and midtones of images.
Direct printing is growing rapidly, especially now that the resolution and quality are good enough to impress even the most picky photographer and/or ad agency.

has installed an HP Scitex FB500 Printer to supplement our existing sign printing
capabilities and to offer innovative printing services on a wide variety of
rigid materials. Our printing room received a complete remodel as well in order to accommodate the new edition. (Pictured below)
In
addition to FB500’s ability to load, print and collect media simultaneously,
along with its fast print speeds and dry times, we are able to create high
quality prints on virtually any rigid and flexible media, and the use of
FB500’s white ink is able to offer a full range of capabilities to our
customers.
The HP Scitex FB500 Printer is a versatile device designed for the production of indoor and outdoor graphics on virtually any rigid substrate up to 64" wide and 2.5" thick. The six-color printer has a number of options including white ink and roll-to-roll capabilities.
By printing directly to your material, the possibility of peeling graphics is eliminated. Projects produced with this printer also have more resistance to scratching and abrasions. Mattress Firm Janesville Signage
Mattress Firm is opening another location in Janesville, WI! Innovative Signs completed the installation of their new exterior signage consisting of channel letters, a monument panel insert and window graphics.
RJ Schinner Exterior Building Sign
Innovative Signs worked with RJ Schinner in Menomonee Falls to produce and install their new exterior building signage. Their new sign was an 8'h x 33'w sign made of alumalite.
